What exactly do I receive?

PifPaf Shop makes designed bean bag chair covers. The cover is sewn, checked, packed and shipped compactly. You add the filling after delivery.

The parcel contains the cover, not the filler.

Bean bag filling is lightweight but very bulky. Shipping a fully filled chair internationally can cost more than the chair itself, so we ship the cover compactly and recommend buying filling locally.

Do I receive a filled bean bag chair?

No. Your order includes the empty bean bag chair cover only. Filling is not included. You fill the cover at home with locally purchased or reused filling.

Why do product photos show a filled chair?

Product photos show the chair after filling so you can understand the final shape, proportions and design. Our product photos are filled with EPS beads, and EPS beads are our recommended option for the closest classic bean bag feel.

The shipped item is still the empty cover only.

Why don’t you ship the filling?

Bean bag filling is bulky and expensive to ship internationally. We recommend buying filling locally through Amazon, local marketplaces, furniture refill stores, craft stores, upholstery suppliers or home stores available in your country.

Can I use the cover as storage?

Yes. Some customers use blankets, pillows or plush toys inside the cover, especially in kids’ rooms. This can work as soft storage, but it will feel different from proper bean bag filling.

How much filling do I need?

The exact amount depends on the cover size, filling type and how firm you want the chair to feel. Add filling gradually, test the shape, then add more if needed.

Compact size Up to about 200 liters of EPS beads.

Where can I buy filling?

Search locally for bean bag refill, EPS beads, polystyrene beads, foam filler, shredded foam or upholstery filler. Good places to check are Amazon, local online marketplaces, furniture stores, craft stores, upholstery suppliers and bean bag refill sellers in your country.

Should I use EPS beads or foam?

EPS beads are our recommendation if you want the closest look and feel to the chairs shown in our photos. Foam can feel softer and heavier, but the final shape may be less like a classic bean bag.

How do I fill the cover?

Open the filling pocket, add your chosen filling slowly, close the cover and test the seat. More filling makes the chair firmer. Less filling makes it softer and more relaxed.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does shipping take?

Our products are made, checked and packed before shipment. We aim to dispatch most orders within 2–7 business days. Custom products can require longer production time.

Will I receive tracking?

Yes. You will receive a tracking number by email once your parcel is dispatched.

Can delivery take longer than the estimate?

Yes. Delivery times can vary because of customs delays, carrier workload, weather, holidays or peak shipping periods.

Do you offer priority shipping?

If you need priority shipping, contact us before ordering or as soon as possible after placing your order. We will check what options may be available for your destination.

Returns & Refunds

What if I need to return something?

You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your item, as long as the item meets the return conditions.

Can I cancel my order?

Any order that is not custom or personalized should be canceled before it is shipped. If the order has already been dispatched, it can no longer be canceled, but you may request a return under the return conditions.

Who pays return shipping?

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or the item arrived damaged, defective or incorrect.

What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?

Contact us immediately. We may ask for photos to understand the issue. In these cases, we will do our best to offer a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.

Customs, duties & import taxes

Will I pay extra charges on delivery?

Depending on your destination country, import VAT, GST, customs duties or carrier handling fees may apply. U.S. customers are currently covered differently as described below.

We currently cover all applicable U.S. import duties on your behalf. You pay nothing extra in U.S. import duties on delivery.

Import VAT may apply. Customs duty is often 0% on Ukrainian-origin goods under EU–Ukraine trade arrangements, but rules and fees may vary.

Import VAT may apply. Customs duty is often 0% on Ukrainian-origin goods under UK–Ukraine trade arrangements, depending on shipment details.

Where are PifPaf covers made?

PifPaf Shop bean bag chair covers are made in Ukraine.

Who is responsible for customs charges?

The buyer is responsible for customs duties, import VAT/GST and carrier handling fees unless we clearly state otherwise, such as U.S. import duties that we currently cover.

Can customs rules change?

Yes. Rates, thresholds and rules can change. The exact amount depends on your order value, contents, country of origin and the courier or postal service handling delivery.

Can you make a custom pet bean bag cover?

Yes. Our custom pet cover is currently available as a product page. You upload clear pet photos, and we create a custom design based on your photo.

How do custom pet orders work?

You upload clear photos of your pet. We create a custom design based on your photos. The design is printed on fabric and sewn into the bean bag chair cover. If clarification is needed, communication may take place by email.

Is the custom chair also shipped empty?

Yes. Custom pet bean bag chair covers are shipped unfilled. Filling is not included.

Can I return a custom order?

Custom or personalized items may be final sale and may not be returnable once production has started. Contact us before ordering if you are unsure.

Product use & care

How should I use and care for the cover?

PifPaf covers are made as soft furniture covers for normal home use. Like any textile product, they should be used with reasonable care.

Can kids use the bean bag cover?

Yes. Many designs are made for kids’ rooms and family spaces. The cover should be filled properly and used under normal home conditions.

Can the final shape vary?

Yes. The final shape and firmness depend on the type and amount of filling used. More filling creates a firmer seat; less filling creates a softer lounge shape.

Can I wash the cover?

Care can depend on the fabric and model. Remove filling before washing. If you are unsure, contact us with your order number or product link before washing.
